It's a Girl

I am still a little in shock, only because I was so sure it was a boy. But yesterday the doctor looked and looked and there was nothing there.  Even Justin was able to tell it was a girl, its was that obvious, and let's just say we don't have a shy little one, she was sticking her bum right in our faces and she even waved to us. It was adorable!

As I was walking out of the office I got super excited and I still can't stop smiling.   I was completely fine with having another boy, but I have always, always, always wanted Alexis to have a sister, since I never had one and now she gets one.  Our sweet little girl will be here before we know it.  Plus they moved my due date up a few more days, so Yeah!!! I like this trend, every appointment we gain a couple of days.

I am super excited to be able to take cute little pictures like this:

and this

I can't even wait, to be able to put her in cute little frilly bows and tutu's. I have a daughter that loves dresses, but they have to be "cool" and "stylish" so I've sort of lost my creative liberties with what I can get Alexis to wear. But now I have another chance.  Plus styles have changed so much since Alexis was born, the huge bows and flowers and tutu skirts weren't even in 6 years ago, and I can't wait.

I think I may have been lying to myself about wanting a boy, because I am so excited to have a girl. I can't wait!  My little MKM will be here before we know it (oh and I also love that finally get to pick this little ones name-Justin's over-ruled me with the last two, but this time its my decision, no if's, and's or but's about it).   It all became really REAL for me yesterday and for the first time I don't feel anxious, or nervous, scared or overwhelmed about having another one, I just can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms.
