Busy and Sick-Not a good combo

So for the last 6 days of my life I think I have been sicker than I can ever remember. Justin, Alexis and Kyle have all had some version of this cold, but I honestly believe I got what all 3 of them had times 1000. It is horrible! But life doesn't stop when a mom is sick, and for some reason I feel like I am busier than I have ever been.

My kids love their brownie mix. Alexis would love it if she could eat the whole bowl of mix and never touch another cooked brownie the rest of her life, and thanks to her, Kyle is on his way to thinking the same way.

So, what do I do on a weekend when I feel horrible? I can't just sit around and be lazy-everyone knows that is beyond my control to sit and do nothing when I have so much on my "To-Do List" (which now that I think about it is why I am probably so sick-my body is pushed to its limits a little too often). I decided to organize my scrap space. Yes-I reorganized it again. I think that reorganizing what is already organized is one of most favorite things to do, you can always find a better system. Just a little OCD :) While reorganizing everything I found some cute pics and paper that were calling my name, I whipped out 6 pages in a matter of minutes. Plus I finished my Christmas Cards-in fact they are sitting in their envelopes just waiting to be mailed. Talk about a productive weekend. Here are a couple of my layouts I did:

I have been looking forward to this week for what seems like an eternity. I was lucky enough and was a fast enough typer to get a spot in Karen Russells Snapshots of a Good Life Class. She is the most amazing photographer and is in such high demand (honestly her class filled up in 1:58). It's like Christmas has come early for me!!! Plus how lucky am I to have a photography class going on during the busiest picture taking time of the year. I can't wait to see what I learn.
