Last week I took the Kyle and Makenna to the Zoo with Stephanie and her two cute little kiddos. I have to tell you it was the best most relaxing day I've ever had at the zoo. The weather was perfect and there was hardly anyone there. Plus the kids got along all day and had a blast together.
We started the day off by going on the train, and Kyle was so excited until we started moving and then all his dramatizing memories of Lagoon came rushing back and he got really scared. He held my hand the whole time and sat as close as he possibly could. But after the ride he got off and said "oh, that wasn't too bad". Funny how quickly you a little kid can change their mind about something.
Makenna on the other hand loved looking around at everything.

This was a picture of Makenna while we were eating lunch, can you tell she just ate too? Her cheeks are just the chubbiest things ever.
We are taking full advantage of this gorgeous weather and the time I have off work. I just wish Alexis wasn't in school all day so she could come play with us too.
