He's finally on the charts

Most of you know that Kyle was born extremely early and spent over a month in the NICU, and had problem after problem. Because he was so small when he was born he as never been on the growth charts, ok-once he was in the 0.02% for height.

Yesterday I took him in for his 18 month checkup and he is officially on the charts for everything. In fact he has had some major growth spurts the past 6 months. He is 23 lbs-7th percentile, 30.5"-13th percentile, and his head circumference puts him in the 70th percentile (he's got to have room for those chubby cheeks!). Even his doctor could not believe how much he has changed the past few months. I told her that he is my little tank-we're grooming him to follow in Grandpa B's footsteps and be the next "Boulter" football star.

The best part of all is that his CMV is untraceable, he is no longer IGA deficient and there are no development issues. Plus his hearing and vision (which were the major concern at birth) are PERFECT. It has been a tough 18 months, full of doctor's appointments and needles. But Kyle is one tough cookie and I am so relieved that he is so healthy.

p.s. Congrats Katie and Jared! I can't wait to see pics of baby Ainsley (the girls are finally catching up! 6 boys-5 girls)

Yay for Kyle! Looking at those chubby cheeks now it's hard to imagine him being off the charts :) Your kids are so cute--Kyle is a little Justin and Alexis is a little Sharra!
