are you ready for picture overload?

so it turns out I have taken a TON of pictures in July and August and haven't posted any of them. I figured I better get caught up before I go to St. George over Labor Day weekend and take a TON more pictures.

this is my adorable niece Ainsley that came to visit in July, and was always asking me to take her picture. When I was taking these pics of her she told me a knock knock joke and still makes me laugh to this day. "Knock, Knock, who's there...Princess, princess who?, I'm the princess silly."

Kyle was so excited to go the zoo and see the dinosaurs, but I don't think he was ready for how big they were and basically clinged to grandma the entire time.

escaping the sun before the bird show started at the zoo.

My little niece Sophie loves baby Makenna and I thought this picture was so sweet of her walking her around the zoo.

Alexis can always be counted on for a perfect picture moment

It's pictures like this that prove how much Kyle just adores his big sister.

Alexis was so excited to start 2nd grade, and took about 30 minutes the night before making sure her outfit was accessorized just right.

I've been trying to embrace the camera more with my kids, and occasionally I get a picture that I love.

ok, seriously, can it get any sweeter than this? I love that Makenna and Justin feel asleep holding hands

love these girls

lil' miss sassy pants x2 (these two just make me laugh, and scares me all at the same time, we have our hands full when they get in high school, because I'm already seeing glimpses what it's going to be like)

Kyle's sport of choice is football- my grandpa is going to be so proud!

I found this picture from Easter on my point and shoot camera, I was wondering why I had no pictures of our egg hunt with Ty's family.

I found this Jazz hat in a box of stuff I've been saving forever. I actually think it might of been Ty's when he was little, but I love it, so I'm claiming Finders Keepers.

Alexis had an absolute blast while Ethan and Aidan were in town, and literally is counting down the weeks until she gets to go stay with them next summer.

I just love these girls, and I think we're looking pretty good after a day at the lake.

My two little water babies

Caleb and Ethan went home from the lake early because they were being stinkers, but Alexis, Zack and Aidan had an absolute blast with each other and we had to pry them off the molecule just so other people could take a turn. Trust me when I say we were little on the lake with them until the sun went down.

At least I have one picture to prove that we do have a day off to just relax once and a while.

Alexis, Aidan and Ainsley got the brillant idea to make their own swimming pool in a cooler.(At least it was in the cooler, when I was little, Ty and I decided to make a swimming pool too, but ours was in our living room-I actually still think that is a sour subject with my parents, because they had to replace all the floor boards and carpet, but man we sure had fun-and I still claim it was all Ty's idea)

Ainsley Mae can fall over in a chair and still have a gigantic smile on her face.

do you think we've spent enough time outside this summer?

I just couldn't resist taking a ton of pictures of that cute little bald head and great big blue eyes.

Little Miss Brinley-I think this picture speaks for itself.

Kyle has definitely outgrown all his babyness and is starting to look like a little man. Good thing he's my little man!

how can you resist those lips?

Now lil' miss Alyda might just be the most photogenic little girl ever. She is such a doll.

Learning how to walk has had it's ups and downs. Does it make me a bad mom that I run for my camera every time my kids get hurt?  Makenna can't usually be found without a bruise somewhere on her face now. Look at those great big crocodile tears, so sad, but so cute all at the same time.

I'm still not sure how I got this picture of Luke, because this little boy NEVER sits still

These picture were taken at the Ogden Mosquito Center. Katie, Becky and I thought we had a great idea taking our kids somewhere new, little did we know there were about a million mosquitos just waiting for us to prey on.

I think this was our 501st try to get everyone to look. Seriously, it was a challenge to say the least.

A new splash pad just opened in my neighborhood that we just LOVE to play at.

Why is it that boys always get the long dark eyelashes. Totally not fair.

Between family visiting and lots of bad luck we've had quite the interesting last couple of months. I'm just counting down the days until August is over so we can start fresh and hopefully some good karma will start coming our direction.
