I feel like its about time I post something else besides baby pictures or baby updates. We have had a crazy busy past few weeks and have enjoyed all the fun time we've been able to spent outside enjoying the warm weather-finally.
A couple weeks ago Alexis had her Spring Cheer recital and did so good. They split her team because of the size of it and then half the girls didn't show up, so she and two other girls performed their routine by themselves. After the rectial she asked me if she could do a dance class next year because she wants to "show those people on So You Think You Can Dance how to really dance." Oh boy, at least she is learning early how to set some goals. (I snuck this picture from pretty far away, but I just love this cute little candid moment after right after her performance)
Kyle loved being able to play at the park with Justin during her rectial and even tried his hand at our new Flip camcorder. (Just so you know Kyle got a hair cut the next day-I can't believe how fast this little man's hair can grow)
(I guess Alexis loved being able to play at the park too)
Probably one of the most exciting and most anticpated things happened to Alexis a couple weeks ago...she finally lost her first tooth. She has been counting down the days since Caleb and Madison starting losing their teeth, because she was ready for it to be her turn. She came home from school one day and her tooth was practically turned horizontal, after a little wiggling and coaxing she let me pull it out the rest of the way and then she spent the rest of the night sticking her tongue through the new hole in her mouth.
On the home front we finally got our last side of our fence up and it's amazing how much better our yard looks being completely enclosed. Plus we decided our kids needed a fun toy to play on outside this summer and after a ton of research we found the most killer deal on a trampoline and they have literally played on it everyday since Justin put it up last weekend. (My most favorite part is the that its brown and tan, not trampoline blue, so it matches my house and deck perfectly)
We even got Grandma Brenda in on the jumping action since my prego belly isn't about it get up on that thing for a while.
Here's a little pic of me at 27 weeks, but the crazy thing is that since this picture was taken I think my baby bump has almost doubled in size...wow, I look really tired in this picture
and that's not all my ankles have decided to join in on the fun and looked like this last night when I got home from work. Oh boy-at least the end is in sight. You know its not good when you bend over to pick something up and you can feel the back of your calves putting pressure on the back of your knee because of the extra water-ouch. I forgot about this part.
We also finished painting our nursery, so after I get all the bedding washed and decorations up this weekend I'll put some pictures up of it. It turned out so cute, and I can't even tell you how happy I am we decided to go with a dragonfly and daisy theme. I'm definitely taking full advantage of having a girl this time around!
Alexis had her Kindergarten graduation today and loved every minute of it. They sang the cutest little songs and then received their dipolma's, report cards and art books they have worked on all year-I really hope Mrs. James is still at Foxboro in two years when Kyle starts, because she might just be the most perfect teacher ever. There is one picture she painted of a cherry blossom tree that I love, in fact we are going to mat it and frame it for the babies room, its that perfect.
