I honestly can't believe that April is halfway over. I was walking into my office this morning and we have an amazing weather porch that I have to walk through to get to the back studio door, and I noticed that most of the bushes have cute little blossoms on it and there are even some bulbs starting to poke through the ground. Yeah, that makes me so happy to know that Spring is finally here.

It's a little late, but here are few pictures from Easter weekend. There are only a couple because I was so sick over Easter weekend I literally only have like 5 pictures.
Egg Hunt
We went over to my cousins house and had a little Easter Egg Hunt. I guess technically you can't say little because she had to hide over 200 eggs and there were a ton of kids. But everyone had fun and got lots of treats to take home.
(This is Alexis being creative so she didn't have to carry her basket beforehand)
(There were so many kids I couldn't even get them all in one picture, just imagine 5-6 kids more on each side of the picture. I told you it was crazy)
(Cute little Sophie didn't really get the whole egg thing, but she was a good sport smiling for me by the slide)
(Kyle didn't want to even find any eggs until about 5 minutes after everyone went outside, at least we still found a few for him. He definitely learned that if you snooze you loose when there is a mob of kids looking for the same eggs that he is)
Easter morning
I kind of felt like having Easter on conference weekend took some of the fun out of it, because the kids didn't get to wear their new Easter clothes. But they still loved all the fun things they got in their Easter baskets, too bad we didn't get any pictures of their cute baskets.
(This little girl has been begging me to get this movie for her since it came out, and she couldn't believe that the Easter Bunny "really truly" got it for her)
(Kyle got a Batman and Joker toy set and didn't really even notice that there was anything else in his basket)
Easter Dinner
Thanks to my mom and Stephanie we had a super yummy easter dinner, if it had been up to me that day we probably would of had cereal. While they were getting dinner ready the kids decorated cookies. McKadin might just be the frosting and sprinkle king, while Alexis wanted hers to be perfect little bunny faces. Don't you love that my kids are still in their pjs at 4pm?
RANDOM April pictures...
Last night Justin was trying to fix an annoying leak we have in our kitchen sink, and had to use his head gear flashlight to see. Kyle loved his little flashlight was was trying so hard to use his super eye powers to get it to turn on.
Alexis had her offical cheer squad pictures last night, but before she would let me take her over to the studio she had to get a little posing practice in. It was a little too chilly for her to go outside, so we played around in our kitchen. I absolutely hate how grown up she is looking-I just wish she would stop growing.
Thankfully I am finally feeling better today. I still can't talk all the great, but all the other fun flu symptoms are pretty much gone. It is not fun at all getting H1N1 and being pregnant-especially when you got the vaccination last Fall-a lot of good that did! I'm on day 15 today, and I think like clockwork after day 14 I started to feel better. The doctors said that I probably have another week until I'm completely over it. You never realize how important medicine is until you can't take it, thankfully my body was strong enough to fight it without having to go to the hospital. I have been able to see my little baby a lot the past two weeks and she is doing great and quickly being my little acrobat. As of last Monday I am still down a pound, but the baby is growing so my doctor isn't worried about my weight at all.
Within the next couple of weeks is when I got sick with Alexis and Kyle, so my fingers are crossed that I won't start having the same issues. (When I was pregnant with Alexis we had all my mold drama up in Farmington and had to move out of our brand new house while it got renovated, plus my Grandma passed away. With Kyle I literally found out I was pregnant with him the Saturday before I came back to the station-between personnel issues, getting caught up and running three TV stations-I had a lot going on from the very start, oh and we were in the process of building our house). With this baby I can honestly say that everything is great, and I think Heavenly Father is watching over me because he knows exactly what I need keep her healthy.
This pregnancy has been completely different and I'm not under near the same amount of stress that I was with the other kiddos, so hopefully everything will stay how it is right now. I only have 15 weeks until I'm full-term, which is my "goal due date", so yeah!!!
I have lots of photoshoots coming up in the next few weeks, and I cannot wait to get outside and use some of those creative genes that have been on vacation since last Fall. As of today, I have a beach shoot at a new area they just opened up near Antelope Island (cannot wait, it is going to be amazing), 2 little kid shoots, bridals, a family shoot and a wedding-not too shabby for May and June-it'll keep me busy that's for sure, but I love it-that's my kind of busy).
