Alexis-
I cannot believe you are 5 years old already. I remember waiting in the labor and delivery room for 29 hours just waiting for you to come, wishing time would rush bye so I could see your gorgeous face. Now I just wish time would slow down. You are the funniest person I know and you always put a smile on my face. I love coming home from work and having you run up to me and give me a kiss and a huge hug. The things that come out of your mouth make me laugh, cry (because I’m laughing so hard) and just smile. You are the best big sister and would do anything for your brother. He is blessed to be loved so much by you, and I know you an example to him in everyway. I also secretly love when you come in my room in the middle of the night and want to snuggle.
I love that you remind me to say prayers with you every night, usually so you won’t be scared, or that your family will be protected. Speaking of prayers, I love your dinner prayers, you always remember to bless your entire family wherever they are, you bless that Kyle will eat all his food and not choke and about 90% of the time you remember to bless the food before you say Amen.
You are my little love bug and my best friend. I am so blessed to be your mom and even though I can’t wait to see the amazing young women you turn into, I hope time doesn’t fly by too fast.
I love you to the moon and back, and all the stars in the sky.

Happy Birthday Alexis
My baby girl is turning 5 on Monday, and cannot wait for her "Luau" party and to see her cousin McKadin in St. George. I decided to write a letter to her to include in her scrapbook as a way of remembering a few of the cute little quirky things that I don't want to forget about in 10, 15, 20 years...
