(just found this blog post that I never got around to posting, I think I wrote it about a month ago, wow-time really has just gotten away from me).
Does it count that I got 3 things done on my ever growing To Do List last weekend? Anyone that knows me knows I'm a list person and that list never gets shorter. I think I should throw the list away and make a new one in 6 months.
So i mentioned feeling MIA in my life, well...I thought things were finally turning around and then the weekend came. I felt so great on Saturday, and decided to take a nap, well it turns out my nap landed right in the middle of when I had to take my medicine, oh and eat, so the whole rest of the night was miserable and by Sunday I was so exhausted and still trying to recover from the horrbile Saturday. Today I'm just tired, but not too sick. Good thing this little baby is going to be cute and cuddly and completely worth it in the end, because man this little one is kicking my butt this time around.

#1: I did clean the toy room and successfully moved all of Alexis' toys into her room this weekend. She has decided that the boys (Kyle and McKadin) are too rough with her toys and they need to be in her room so they can't play with them. Which actually was perfect timing, because if I ever get around to it, the toy room is going to become our workout room so the workout room can become the babies room, which means those toys gotta find news homes (hopefully a lot of them can make it into my DI box before the kids notice). After we were done Alexis sat down on my lap and gave me a huge hug and said "Now my room feels like a real room, I think I'll sleep better knowing my toys all have a place to go".
#2: I made my mom the cutest frame for Christmas, but never got around to putting together the grandkid collage to go in it. Acutally the collage is the only way we are ever going to get all 4 of the grandkids in a picture together-we've tried and tried and tried, but getting a 5, 3, 2 and almost 1 year old to cooperate all at the same time doesn't really work. Right before Steph and Ty came over for her birthday dinner I banged a cute collage out, one more thing offically off my list. What did I ever do without photoshop?
#3: I attemped to finish editing my December pictures, only to find out that my pictures are still on my camera, and I didn't have enough energy to walk downstairs to get it, so I pretty much bagged that idea. How lazy am I??? We may get to this one tonight since Justin is out of town and Alexis is sleeping over at Madison's. But we'll see.
#4: ...wait, there isn't a #4. Notice how the laundry, cleaning bathrooms and grocery shopping isn't on my list of stuff that got finished. Hopefully this week-that grocery list isn't getting any shorter. Last night we had my family over for dinner and I didn't even have any ranch left to go with the salad, and anyone that knows Justin, knows its the end of the world if we don't have a bottle of ranch in the house-we may even get him to go to the store since he can't eat 80% of his food without it. (just a little side note, I wrote this blog entry on Monday and decided Tuesday on the way home that I had to go the store, so I guess technically I can cross grocery shopping off my list for a few more weeks. I never spend more than $100 at the store and I spent $170 before coupons, really I only spent $158 and all I got was food that was on our list-holy cow-that is just so much money for me to spend on groceries all at once, good thing this is going to last 3 or 4 weeks)
Like I said, we are just doing everything we can to get through the next couple of weeks and hope that I start to feel like myself again. I do have to make Alexis' Star of the Week poster for school this week, so maybe that will get my creative juices going again and I can start to do something fun for me again.
